NPH’s Engagement Café: a place to meet in person
Last week we hosted yet another successful Engagement Café, our most popular resident engagement event. And despite the best efforts of the rain, lots of residents popped by for a hot drink and to speak with colleagues from NPH and West Northamptonshire Council (WNC).
After a good turnout at The Life Centre in Spring Boroughs in November last year, the café was hosted here once again. As well as welcoming familiar faces to the event, we were happy to meet some new visitors too. Such as long-term NPH resident Selbert.
Selbert attended the café for the first time as he had an issue to discuss and prefers meeting in person, he told us:
“I came along to report some repairs. Would usually ring but saw the text message come through about the Engagement Café so thought I’d come along to report my repair. It’s the first time I’ve come to this event and I think it’s been good. I prefer speaking face to face where I can, it’s much better than phoning.”
The Engagement Café takes place quarterly and, we’re happy to report, it continues to receive positive feedback from attendees.
The next Engagement Café will again take place at the Life Centre, Spring Boroughs, on May 7th. Remember there’s no need to book – we look forward to seeing you there!
