WNC consultation about social housing provision has now closed
Northamptonshire Partnership Homes (NPH) is an arms-length management organisation (ALMO) that manages West Northamptonshire Council’s housing services. NPH is wholly owned by West Northamptonshire Council (WNC).
At its Cabinet meeting on Tuesday 24th June, WNC recommended that its council housing provision be brought back under direct Council management instead of being managed by Northamptonshire Partnership Homes as an ALMO. The Cabinet approved this recommendation as a ‘minded-to decision’ in a phased manner, once a full independent consultation has taken place with tenants, residents, and stakeholders.
You can read more about this decision and the consultation process on WNC’s website here: Tenants to be consulted on future social housing provision in West Northants
The consultation process has now closed. Thank you to everyone who took part in the consultation on the future of housing services. West Northamptonshire Council will now work with the independent organisation who carried out the consultation to collate and analyse the results from both the tenant and leaseholder consultation and the wider public consultation.
We shall continue to post updates about the process on our website here.
